Nicki Lodico is a records and archives management strategist with expertise in safeguarding valuable organizational records and making them accessible over time. Nicki has helped organizations build and implement sustainable and defensible practices for managing the records they create and using what they know to make informed decisions, be transparent, and minimize risk. With her deep understanding of the challenges unique to organizations that are committed to preserving their historical records, she helps organizations develop tools and practices that support learning, knowledge sharing, and powerful storytelling, as well as provide opportunities for future researchers and historians to examine and evaluate their work.
Before founding NALA Information Strategies in 2022, Nicki was the head of global information and knowledge management at the Ford Foundation in New York City, where she developed an information management function that became a model for foundations large and small across the United States.
She has been active in supporting innovations in and ethical use of technology within the philanthropic sector, most recently as board member for the Technology Association of Grantmakers from 2017-2022.
