Directory of Student Chapters

About a dozen student chapters of the Society of American Archivists have been established around the country since 1993. These chapters promote the following:

1. introduces new archivists into the profession
2. enhances education by providing an additional focus for students to discuss archival issues
3. identifies with the profession
4. engages in professional activities 
5. promotes communication among student members
6. develops leaders of tomorrow's archives profession.
