Distinguished Fellows of SAA

Established in 1957, the distinction of Fellow is the highest honor bestowed on individuals by SAA to recognize sustained and outstanding achievements in pursuit of the goals of the profession and the work of the Society. In accordance with SAA's constitution, there shall be a special class of individual members, known as Fellows of the Society of American Archivists, which shall consist of members elected to that class by a seventy-five (75) percent vote of the Committee on the Selection of Fellows. To be elected a Fellow, one must have been a member of the Society in good standing for at least seven (7) years, consecutively or non-consecutively.
