Host benefits:
- Timely education delivered by experienced faculty and practicing archivists,
- Cost savings—eliminate travel expenses and receive discounted registration for your employees,
- Convenience—SAA handles many pre- and post-event tasks, PLUS
- $25 discount off the nonmember registration rate to staff members of the hosting institution.
SAA will:
- Schedule an SAA instructor and cover honorarium and travel-related expenses,
- Process course registrations,
- Create an online portal for each course, providing attendees with convenient access to pre-readings, print-your-own course workbooks,* exams, evaluations, and certificates, PLUS
- Market via In the Loop, our monthly Education eNews, occasional online ads, and SAA's social media accounts.
Host provides:**
- Meeting/classroom space,
- A/V equipment as needed,***
- Beverages (e.g., water, tea, and coffee) for breaks,
- Marketing of the course to their contacts, mailing lists, and professional networks,
- Name badges (optional),
- Printed copies of presentation slides for attendees (optional), and
- Paper/notepads for notetaking (optional).
Aspects of the hosting experience that previous hosts found most valuable:

*SAA is no longer providing printed, bound workbooks for course attendees. Course attendees will have access to an online portal where they can download and/or print their own materials.
**Hosts receive one complimentary course registration if the following is provided at no additional cost to SAA.
