Operations Strategist

Mike Rush is the Operations Strategist at Yale University's Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library. In that role he chairs the Beinecke's Operations Group, which sets library-wide policies, and leads work on institutional communication, documentation, workflow management, records management, and onboarding. In previous positions at the Beinecke Library, Mike supervised archival accessioning and coordinated the development of finding aid systems across Yale Library. A Fellow of the Society of American Archivists, he led the development of EAD3 as co-chair of SAA’s Technical Subcommittee for Encoded Archival Description from 2010 to 2015.
