The Business Archives Section newsletter started in 1984. Over the years it has been known as, "Business Archives Newsletter" and "Business Archivist & Archives Newsletter." The original aim was to publish a newsletter twice a year. We've posted as many of the newsletters as we could find here in PDF format. Starting with vol. 17, no. 2 the newsletter went online. Over the years, some of the online editions appear to have disappeared into the internet abyss. Additionally, with the launch of the new website in 2000 and subsequent addition of the section listserv, the standard newsletter format was all but abandoned for the instant updates provided by the internet. This also meant that the content, normally reserved for the newsletter was disaggregated into informative sections (Repository Profiles, News, Events and Announcements, etc.). In order to recapture the newsletter's value, one "hard" edition was produced for 2010.
As more editions of the newsletter are found, they will be added to this list. Additionally, we have posted repository profiles and the feature articles on this site. Business Archives Section members are always welcome to submit articles, profiles, member updates, photographs, etc., to the Editors.
Please note that there were no issues published from 2006-2009.
