September 22, 2025—Society of American Archivists Council Member Michelle Ganz has notified the SAA Council of her resignation, effective August 29, 2025. SAA thanks Ganz for her service to the Society. 

September 16, 2025—Budgetary threats to state and territorial archives, records management centers, and historical records repositories are increasing across the United States. These cuts risk long-term harm to our states' archives, libraries, and historical societies.
