Outreach Ideas:

• Kirsti wrote posts on WARC-GPT coffee chat and April/June roundup

• Kirsti working on a new link roundup, will share a draft

• Amanda: Follow-up on blog post about Webjam group?

  • Will have a post by the end of the week

Annual Meeting: 

• Any follow-up/wrap up from the annual meeting?

  • Chair of PLAC section was happy with the program

  • Crosspost call for membership to PLAC

• Corinne will share draft of the annual report with steering members

Elections

• Updates on candidate ballot and elections?

  • Need to fill all positions (Google Form: SAA Web Archiving Section Steering Committee Candidates 2024-2025 (google.com))

    • Vice Chair

    • Education Coordinator

    • Secretary

    • Communications Manager

    • Student Member

  • Sept elections deadline

    • Sept. 16 (names of candidates to SAA)

  • No one has responded, we need to do serious outreach

    • Everyone, email one specific person!

    • Cross-post to ERS and other sections

    • Spam Twitter account with reminders

Everyone: email at least one person with call for membership (Due 9/15)

Hope: will sent out call to multiple section listservs
