Helice Koffler is the Processing Archivist for the Shubert Archive. Prior to this position, Helice worked at the University of Washington as Manuscripts and Special Collections Cataloging Librarian. Other past employment includes stints with the New York Public Library, King County Archives, and Fales Library, New York University. She received a B.A. with a double major in Art History and English, as well as an M.A. in English from Hunter College, City University of New York. Helice earned her M.L.I.S. at the Palmer School of Library & Information Science, Long Island University. She is a Certified Archivist.
Helice has held several leadership positions within SAA. For PAR, she has served as co-chair (2006-2007); web liaison (2007-2009) and editor of Performance! (2010-2016). She also was co-chair of the Women’s Collections Roundtable (now Section) and a steering committee member of the Manuscript Repositories Section.
In addition to SAA, Helice has been active with numerous other professional and scholarly organizations. She currently serves on the Executive Board of the Theatre Library Association and the Membership Committee of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference (MARAC).
Brenna Edwards is is currently the Project Digital Archivist in the Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Books Library (MARBL) at Emory University. She is a recent graduate from the MSLS program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a concentration in archives and records management. Her masters paper was on the American Theatre Archive Project within the Triangle region of North Carolina and it's impact on the local theatre scene. She has also worked with PlayMakers Repertory Company and the UNC Center for Dramatic Art on their archives as an independent project. Brenna's professional interests are digital archives, theatre archives, and community archives and how these three areas can intersect.
Vincent J. Novara is Curator for Special Collections in Performing Arts at the Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library, University of Maryland, where he earned his Masters of Music. A Certified Archivist, he has held archivist positions at UMD since 1994, and was appointed curator in 2005. Scholarly communications include exhibitions, book chapters, and articles and reviews in SAA’s American Archivist, Music Library Association’s Notes, ACRL’s CHOICE, and Educational Media Reviews Online; as well as conference panelist, presenter, or moderator. Novara also instructs the Project Management in the Archival Workplace workshop for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference.
