Annual Meeting, 2017

The Lesbian and Gay Archives Section meeting will begin with the annual business meeting and introduction of new co-chair. The remaining time will be devoted to a presentation regarding the request for a Tragedy Response Team.

LAGAS is investigating the creation of a Tragedy Response team to provide support for archivists and community members struggling to document and preserve in times of tragedy. As section leaders begin to move forward with this idea, we will dedicate this year’s section meeting to listening to your experiences and recommendations about how a Tragedy Response Team could be of service to SAA members.
