Apply for an SAA Foundation Grant

The SAA Foundation Board invites individuals, groups, and organizations—especially practicing archivists, SAA component groups, and allied professionals—to submit grant proposals to fund research, projects, or initiatives that will benefit our profession. The SAA Foundation awards grants (ranging from $500 to $5,000) for projects that meet the mission and goals of the SAA Foundation and SAA’s strategic planning priorities.

Call for Volunteers: New Committee on Research, Data, and Assessment

November 5, 2018—At its November 2-3 meeting, the SAA Council created a standing Committee on Research, Data, and Assessment whose principal charge is to “provide access to significant and useful data and research about SAA, American archives, and their users  that evidence the value of archives for society and help us improve our services to SAA members and to our consumers." The Council seeks volunteers for this nine-member committee.
