The Steering Committee has been reviewing the section’s current standing rules in order to update them and reflect current practices and overall SAA section guidelines.
In accordance with the standing rules, the proposed amendments were reviewed by the executive director (or her designee) and the section's Council Liaison and will now be put forward in a referendum vote by the section membership. The proposed changes will appear on the section's annual election ballot for a final approval by a simple majority of the section's membership.
