Cast Your Vote Between March 13, and April 13, 2015SAA members who are eligible to vote can cast their votes online between March 13, and April 13, 2014. Click here to cast a ballot. Sixteen candidates vying for four different offices are slated for SAA’s 2015 ballot. The candidate elected vice president will serve a one-year term beginning in August 2015 and then will become SAA’s 72nd president in 2016–2017. The candidate elected treasurer will serve a three-year term beginning in August and running through the 2018 SAA Annual Meeting. There are three available seats on the Council. Those elected will serve three-year terms beginning in August and running through the 2018 Annual Meeting. The three candidates elected to the 2016 Nominating Committee will serve one-year terms beginning immediately.

Vice President/President-Elect: Describe your vision to raise the profile of archives and archivists and how you would leverage the strategic plan to move this forward.
Treasurer: How could you as treasurer help simultaneously ensure the financial well being of SAA and bring more value to members?
Council: How would you utilize your skills and experience to help make SAA thrive in an environment that expects more communication, collaboration, and demonstrated action?
Nominating Committee: What will be your criteria for choosing a slate of nominees, and how will those help SAA in its mission?
These questions were developed by SAA’s 2015 Nominating Committee: Chair Erin O'Meara, Cristela Garcia-Spitz, Eira Tansey, and Council members Geoffrey Huth and Michelle Light.
Any eligible member of SAA may also be placed on the ballot by submitting a petition signed by fifty individual members; petitions must be received at the SAA office in Chicago by February 10, 2015.
The online ballot will be administered by VoteNet Solutions.
