At-Large Steering Committee Nominees (2 positions):
Lauren White, CA
Job Title: Archivist
Institution: Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library
Bio statement:
Lauren White, CA, is an archivist at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and has previously held positions at the University of Michigan, University of Toledo, and Purdue University. She has a BA in English from the University of Southern Mississippi and an MSI from the University of Michigan and is an alumna of the 2019 Archives Leadership Institute. Lauren also previously served as Assistant Editor for the “Archives on the Web” column of the MAC Newsletter and as a member of the steering committee for the Accessibility and Disability Section. She is currently an SAA Career Commons Counselor and member of the Mentoring Subcommittee.
Lauren is passionate about rethinking and expanding access to archival materials, especially in the area of accessibility in archival spaces, and would be honored to serve on the Reference, Access and Outreach Section.
Lindy Smith
Job Title: Head of LaBudde Special Collections
Institution: University of Missouri-Kansas City Libraries
Bio statement:
Lindy Smith has been Head of LaBudde Special Collections at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Libraries since August 2019. Prior to that she worked as an archivist at Bowling Green State University’s Music Library and Bill Schurk Sound Archives and the Ohio State University Archives. She holds graduate degrees in library and information science and historical musicology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is an active member of SAA (Society of American Archivists), RBMS (Rare Books and Manuscripts Section), and MAC (Midwest Archives Conference), having served on committees and presented at annual meetings of all three organizations. She is also active in the Kansas City Area Archivists and Abolition in Special Collections. Her professional interests include dismantling barriers and bias in public services and archival description, accessibility and disability, and music special collections.

Anna Lynn Martino
Job Title: Director, Nickelodeon Archives and Library
Institution: Paramount Global/Nickelodeon Animation
Bio statement:
Anna Lynn Martino is the Director of Nickelodeon Archives and Library at Nickelodeon Animation since 2016. Her prior positions included being a school librarian at Harvard-Westlake Middle School, where she consulted with Alan Sasaki as he built the middle school’s archives, consultant with Mid-Pacific’s archival creation team, a reference librarian for Burbank Public Library, and a cataloging assistant at Coronado Public Library. She served as a board member for the Burbank Public Library from 2019-2020. Anna Lynn is currently a co-chair for the Society of California Archivists, Communications and Outreach Committee, as well as a member of SCA’s Labor, Advocacy and Public Policy Committee, and a co-chair of Paramount Global’s Asian Media Professionals employee resource group.
Anna Lynn is passionate about mentoring those interested in archives and libraries, accessibility and access of archival materials, as well as, advocating for a more equitable and inclusive archival field. Thank you for your consideration.
