E2 Exhibits and Events Resource Bank

Introduction

The E2 (Exhibits and Events) Resource Bank is a hub for relevant examples of exhibition and event-related policies, procedures, contracts, and other germane materials for archivists, special collections librarians, public historians, and other professionals who hold these work responsibilities. The goal of this resource bank is to serve as a source of inspiration and reference for our professional community as we revise existing and create new documentation for the work we do.

This looks like a really

This looks like a really valuable hub, especially for anyone involved in exhibits or public-facing archive work. Having real examples of contracts, condition reports, and checklists in one place can save so much time when you’re setting up or revising your own processes. I’ve seen a similar benefit from using well-organized reference platforms like 247CareerforFreshers.com (https://www.247careerforfreshers.com/)  for career and documentation guidance, so a shared resource bank like this feels like a smart way for the professional community to learn from each other instead of reinventing the wheel every time.

This is a valuable initiative that brings much needed structure and shared knowledge to exhibit and event related work across institutions. Having a central resource bank encourages consistency, transparency, and professional growth within the archival community. Just as a NBAD (FAB) Bank Balance Inquiry helps users quickly access essential financial information, this portal simplifies access to practical documentation and best practices for professionals.

E2 Exhibits and Events Resource Bank

This is a great collection of resources for anyone planning exhibits or events! I especially appreciate how it brings together practical tools and examples — that’s something I try to highlight in my own work too.

One approach I find useful (and that I often write about on HireHabibi.com (https://hirehabibi.com/) is to start with clear visitor goals before diving into layout or content. Knowing what you want attendees to take away helps shape everything from signage to programming and engagement tactics.

Also, if you’re working with limited budgets or small teams, lean into collaboration and shared templates — it’s amazing how much time you save when you don’t reinvent the wheel for every event.

Thanks for sharing this — it’ll be a valuable reference for planning and outreach librarians alike!

This is a valuable initiative for sharing practical documentation and encouraging consistent standards across institutions. Having a centralized resource like this supports better planning and accountability, much like how NBAD/FAB balance inquiry (https://nbadbalanceinquiry.online/) tools provide clear reference points for financial oversight. Both emphasize transparency, shared knowledge, and informed decision making within professional communities.

This is a really valuable and thoughtfully curated resource. Having all these exhibit- and event-related documents in one place makes it much easier for archivists and librarians to learn from real-world practices instead of starting from scratch. I especially appreciate the openness of the project and the option to contribute anonymously—it really encourages wider participation. Resources like this save time, improve standards, and help institutions plan more confidently, whether you’re drafting policies or budgeting for projects (even down to practical things like handling expenses with a FAB credit card#mce_temp_url#). Great initiative for the professional community
