- SAA 2026
- Potential PLASC in-person meeting @ SAA in July 29 - August 1
- Details around support for special section meetings (i.e. rooms provided, space, etc. @ SAA conference)
- Mott recommends: special section socials (aside from official meetings)
- Mott is part of the SAA steering committee; will look for public library- and archives-related events (could be a part of our annual meeting, give us a presentation, etc.)
- Lauren: A co-worker and I submitted a proposal for the shorter presentation format. It speaks more to government archives but I’ll be throwing in some public library stuff!
- Government archives don’t always have many proposals, in part because academic archives have a carrot involved…….. (even though they each make up ⅓ of the profession in the industry)
- Micro-site: only portions are editable
- Erinn hasn’t heard from SAA about where they are on that process.
