Meeting began at 3:00 PM CST

Present: Joanna, Catherine Oseas, Catherine Tremblay, Charmaine Bonner, Biz Gallo

Approve the February 21, 2024 meeting minutes

Approved unanimously.

1)Lunch & Learn with Web Archives Section

1. Erinn and Joanna went to Web Archiving topic. Only Public Librarians in attendance.
2. May 17th (Friday) 11am PST
3. Why web archive? How to get started? ArchiveIt. Community Webs. Mostly for questions
4. Blurb for advertising. 
5. Their annual section meeting has been a joint meeting with another section. 10 minutes of section business and then an extended program on a topic relevant to both sections.

2)Annual Section Meeting panel - Susan Goldstein (info/dates released in April)

1. Maybe flip flop session meeting and lunch and learn topic
2. Susan may 17?

3)Blog

a. Call for participation in Memory Lab blog series

4)SAA Forum on section health assessment (see report summary)

1. Recommendations for some sections to merge
2. Transition from section to discussion group. What’s the difference?
3. Updating the general governance manual
4. Complaints about communication and SAA connect
5. Check your settings under profile
6. Contact SAA governance with any issues
7. Low participation in elections.
8. Can touch base with Jasmine Jones at any time
9. Pros/Cons of membership
10. Co chair system? Staggered system

5)PLASC listserv post for Robert Elder’s diary project

1. Put him in touch with Jo in CPL
2. He can use the listserv
