Present: Angela Stanley, Johanna Russ, Patricia Delara, Laura Carroll, Dylan Gaffney, Heather Lanctot

Approve May 19, 2021 meeting minutes. Moved and approved with one minor change.

Updates

Chair, Angela Stanley - We were late putting out calls for nominations but did receive a nomination for every role. 

Vice Chair & Newsletter Editor, Patricia Delara - No new submissions. Should we wait until after the section meeting and solicit content at that meeting? If we wait until after the Section meeting, we could also plug election results and provide a recap of the meeting. We could also ask if Deborah is willing to contribute her slides or text for use in the newsletter. We could also share twitter poll results. 

Website, Johanna Russ - Added approved minutes and candidates to the website.

Secretary & Social Media Coordinator, Dylan Gaffney. Formulated new questions and added the latest results to the doc.

Survey Working Group, Catherine Oseas & Heather Lanctot - The document has gone through some really great edits and received extensive and helpful comments.

Outreach, Laura Carroll - Developing graphics in Canva. Trying to match colors and graphics from SAA.

Old Business

Section Meeting program @ SAA Annual, 7/20 @ 12pm

• Feedback on Deborah’s outline

• Angela will share out slide deck and outline for the program. Brief run through of the program at the next meeting. All section meetings will be free and open for anyone to attend.
