Candidate Statement: Having been a Performing Arts Section steering committee member for the past two years, I feel I have gained a thorough understanding of the ins and outs of running programming for the committee. I feel I am ready to move up in responsibility and assist in guiding new members of the committee in operations. I have enjoyed working with

the current members and also meeting, observing, and hosting the guests for the Meet & Greets, which open so many doors into lesser known performing arts collections across the globe. I also would be excited to see the production and continuation of the Performance! newsletter in the coming years. I hope to solidify the workflow for the newsletter for future steering committee members, as I believe it is a wonderful resource that keeps collections, and those interested, connected.
