Performing Arts Section 2024 Call for Candidates

The Performing Arts Section is seeking nominations for two open Steering Committee Member positions:

Steering Committee Members serve a two-year term, participate in steering committee meetings, and provide input and general support. They may be assigned to specific tasks as needed by the Co-chairs.

In the 2024-2025 year, the Section will focus on reactivating our newsletter/blog, continuing our outreach efforts, and pursuing collaborations with other SAA sections, as well as allied organizations. 

The Steering Committee meets virtually once a month and holds "meet and greet" discussion meetings every two months, in addition to the annual business meeting. You need to be a member of SAA to serve, but attendance at the Annual Meeting is not required.
