Bio: Rachael Cristine Woody has more than 10 years of experience in archives, with expertise in creating and relaunching archival programs with community collections. She is the owner of Rachael Cristine Consulting LLC, a firm that provides services to archives, museums, and heritage organizations. Previously she was at the Freer|Sackler Museum of the Smithsonian Institution and the Oregon Wine History Archive at Linfield College. Much of her work has been in developing new history-based programs from scratch, which often required her to seek grant funding to get the job done. As a result, her specialty is helping organizations acquire the resources they need to fund their mission and get back to doing the jobs that they love. She is active in Northwest Archivists and serves on the Committee for Public Awareness at the Society of American Archivists, and is an alumna of the Archives Leadership Institute. She received her Bachelor of Arts in History from Pacific University and her Master of Science in Library and Information Science with a concentration in Archives Management from Simmons University.
