CEPD Liaison

CEPD Liaison/Shepherd Responsibilities

Shepherds/liaisons are familiar with the content of the workshops/seminars/webinars under their purview and may be asked to participate in conference calls with the education director and the instructor/developer.

  • Looks at the workbooks and/or PowerPoint presentations;
  • Views the evaluation summaries forwarded by the education staff;
  • Communicates with the education director.

Shepherds/liaisons propose new workshop/seminar/webinar development in their category along with recommended developers/instructors if a gap is identified.

Shepherds/liaisons look at the tiers assigned to their workshops/seminars/webinars (Foundational, TST, etc.), consider gaps in the curriculum, and suggest ways to fill the gap – new developers to work with, etc.

Shepherds/liaisons reach out to Sections/Roundtables – to let them know what workshops/seminars/webinars are available for presentation and to inquire what the education needs are from the Section/Roundtable perspective.

Shepherds/liaisons may be asked to make presentations at Section/Roundtable meetings.
