a. Changes to awards cycle due to COVID-19
i. Extended time for subcommittee evaluation/selection process
ii. Awardees recognized via conference website, SAA website, social media, news releases in lieu of a live awards ceremony
c. Review of SAA Awards data (see attached document). We received over 200 nominations for the first time!
a. Fall transition between subcommittee chairs
b. Review Awards Committee website for useful info to guide subcommittee work, including Calendar of Activities, FAQ, sample citation, etc.
c. Notification of awardees: discussing possible changes to the timeline for notifications.
a. Archival Innovator Award: challenge of evaluating individuals and larger groups for the same award. Co-chairs will follow up with subcommittee to discuss possible solutions.
