Sponsorship of ARCHIVES*RECORDS 2021: Together/Apart

Dear Industry Partner:

SAA will meet virtually for its 85th Annual Meeting in August 2021, rather than in Anaheim as planned. (Mickey and Minnie will just have to wait!) This was a tough decision, given how much we’d all like to be together. But it does give us the opportunity to build on our success in 2020 (with more than 2,400 attendees!) and construct the 2021 SAA Annual Meeting from the ground up.

What does that decision mean for our industry partners? Based on your feedback about “virtual expos,” we’ve decided not to offer an “expo” this year. Instead you’ll have the opportunity to craft a conference sponsorship to serve your budget and marketing needs.

Every industry partner who signs on will receive a listing on our “Sponsors” page (including your logo with a link to your website), as well as three complimentary registrations for the full conference and access to the attendee roster (name and email address). The fee at this level is $1,000.  From there, you can choose from a variety of sponsorship “Add-Ons” to meet your budget and enhance your marketing message. See the list below.

Strategic Partner: $25,000 - SOLD OUT!
(Two sponsorships available at this level.)

  • Choose either Plenary 1 or Plenary 2 (with exclusive 60-second pre-recorded message).
  • One Community/User Group meeting included in program.*
  • One 45-minute Mini-Theater session included in program.*
  • Your company name/logo on all conference email marketing.
  • Three all-member email messages sent from SAA headquarters between August 2021 and March 2022.
  • Choice of three add-ons from list below.
  • Featured listing on “Conference Sponsors” page, with your logo and a brief blurb that links to your website.
  • Ten complimentary registrations for use by your representatives or for transfer to designated attendees.
  • Access to the attendee roster (names and email addresses) for one-time use before and one-time use after the conference.
  • Advertising on the conference website and in Archival Outlook.

Sustaining Partner: $15,000
(Two sponsorships available at this level.)

  • Full-day sponsorship (Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday). You will be listed as the day’s sponsor and your logo will appear on the introductory slides of all sessions (excluding plenaries and networking events) on that day.
  • One 45-minute Mini-Theater session included in program.*
  • Two all-member email messages sent from SAA headquarters between August 2021 and March 2022.
  • Choice of two add-ons from list below.
  • Featured listing on “Conference Sponsors” page, with your logo and a brief blurb that links to your website.
  • Seven complimentary registrations for use by your representatives or for transfer to designated attendees.
  • Access to the attendee roster (names and email addresses) for one-time use before and one-time use after the conference.
  • Advertising on the conference website and in Archival Outlook.

Supporting Partner: $10,000
(Two sponsorships available at this level.)

  • Individual sponsorship of up to three education sessions, with company name/logo on introductory slide.
  • Two 15-minute Mini-Theater session included in program.*
  • Choice of 3 add-ons from list below.
  • Featured listing on “Conference Sponsors” page, with your logo and a brief blurb that links to your website.
  • Five complimentary registrations for use by your representatives or for transfer to designated attendees.
  • Access to the attendee roster (names and email addresses) for one-time use before and one-time use after the conference.
  • Advertising on the conference website and in Archival Outlook.

Industry Partner: $1,000
(Unlimited sponsorships available at this level.)

  • Listing on “Conference Sponsors” page, with your logo and a link to your website.
  • Three complimentary registrations for use by your representatives. 
  • Access to the attendee roster (names and email addresses) for one-time use. 
  • Access to the Add-Ons below for additional fees noted.

The 2020 SAA Annual Meeting drew more than 2,400 attendees. Now that everyone’s in virtual conference mode, we expect many more than that in 2021!  When SAA brings TOGETHER the archives and records community in August 2021, we hope you’ll be A PART of it!
