Conference Registration

We’re excited to have you join us for ARCHIVES*RECORDS 2021: Together/Apart, SAA’s Virtual Annual Meeting! 


SAA is committed to providing important learning and networking opportunities for the archives profession throughout these especially challenging times, and we’re excited to experiment with new ways to connect with you. Your registration fees offset our actual virtual meeting costs and help to support our year-round activities, including advocacy, periodicals, free and low-cost online courses, and program development. 

Your Registration Includes:  Full access to all live and pre-recorded sessions, poster presentations, networking opportunities, Mini-Theater presentations by our industry partners, and more throughout the conference week (August 2-6), as well as on-demand access after the conference.

 

Note:  All SAA governance activities – including Council and Foundation Board meetings, SAA Section meetings, appointed group meetings, and the SAA Leadership Orientation and Forum – will take place via Zoom prior to the conference. See the full calendar.

Registration Fees:

Online registration opens by April 30, 2021. 

Thanks to the generosity of lead sponsors Preservica and Lucidea as well as our many loyal industry partners who have chosen to sponsor the conference, we are pleased to offer reduced fees to all attendees and deeply discounted fees to those who are unable to afford the full registration at this time—including students as well as those who are unemployed or precariously employed due to COVID-19.

*The SAA Foundation is pleased to offer its Annual Meeting Award to provide free registration to up to 122 archivists in need of financial support to attend ARCHIVES*RECORDS 2021. Only current SAA members are eligible for this award, based on financial need.

Cancellations and Refunds: If for any reason you must cancel your registration, your written request must be received by July 1, 2021, to receive a refund minus a $50 handling charge.  No refunds will be issued after July 1.
