Call for Participants: SAA (Virtual!) Navigator Program

Attention all attendees of the 2021 virtual Annual Meeting of the Society of American Archivists!

Are you attending the Annual Meeting for the first time and wondering how to get the most out of the conference? Do you want to help a colleague get oriented with attending SAA? Consider signing up for the Navigator Program.

The Navigator Program is a short-term networking opportunity that matches experienced Annual Meeting attendees with newer meeting attendees, or anyone who is interested in receiving guidance on the Annual Meeting or networking. Navigators share their experience, advise you on sessions and special events that are likely to suit your interests, and facilitate networking with other attendees. Program participants are welcome to chat over a virtual coffee, tea, or lunch, and talk about SAA, careers, goals, challenges, life experiences; whatever you like that would be helpful to the newer attendee. This year, the Navigator Program and SAA Mentoring Program are partnering to bring you the virtual Navigator Program.

Deadline to request a navigator is Friday, July 16.

Deadline to volunteer as a navigator is Wednesday, July 21.

Thank you,
