Carol Kussmann is a Digital Preservation Analyst for the University of Minnesota Libraries, where she works to address the digital preservation needs of the University Libraries, Archives and Special Collections, and the Minnesota Digital Library. As Co-Chair of the Electronic Records Task Force she focuses on addressing the ingest, processing, and access of electronic records.
Carol is involved with the Best Practices, Tools, and Resources Subcommittee of the Council of State Archivists and helped to implement the Program for Electronic Records Training, Tools, and Standards web portal. As a Digital Preservation Outreach and Education (DPOE, a program of the Library of Congress) trainer, Carol works with Minitex to provide digital preservation training in the Midwest region.
