Good riddance to 2020, right? It’s been a year… one in which we’ve pivoted to working from home, documenting a pandemic, diversifying our collection content and our profession, holding virtual conferences, and navigating a serious economic downturn.
December 16, 2020—Thirteen SAA members were appointed by SAA President Rachel Vagts to serve on the new A*CENSUS II Working Group:
Senators Chris Coons (D-DE) and John Cornyn (R-TX) have introduced the "Educating for Democracy Act of 2020." (Read a summary of the bill.) It is a companion bill to one introduced in September by Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) and Congressman Tom Cole (R-OK).
