Founding director of the Walter P. Reuther Library of Labor and Urban Affairs at Wayne State University, SAA Fellow, and SAA past president Philip Parker Mason, 94, who passed away on May 6, 2021.

SAA Fellow, past president, and graduate educator F. Gerald Ham, 91, passed away on June 5, 2021, in Madison, Wisconsin.

SAA Fellow, past president, and bibliophile William L. Joyce, 79, passed away on June 6, 2021, after a lengthy battle with cancer.  

June 9, 2021—Jacqualine Price Osafo, MBA, CAE, vice president of membership for the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), has been selected as the new executive director of the Society of American Archivists and will officially assume the post July 15, 2021.
