139 Archival Workers Supported by AWEF

July 9, 2020To date, the Archival Workers Emergency Fund has supported 139 archival workers in need! Thank you to the AWEF Review Committee for their diligent work each week to get these fund dispersed!

And thank you to our many generous donors for making this possible. We have raised nearly $102,050 from 707 donors as well as $6,100 from 26 SAA sections! In addition to their initial $15,000 seed funding, the SAA Foundation Board has committed an additional $6,000 to support the fund.

Currently, we continue to receive new applications each day and the Review Committee works to approve applications as soon as possible. If you have the means and have not yet contributed, consider making a donation to ensure funding is available for archival workers in need!

Much gratitude and thanks to all those who have contributed in so many ways to the Archival Workers Emergency Fund!
