The American Archivist Reviews Portal features evaluations of emerging technologies and resources that archivists use and create, facilitating the preservation and stewardship of archival material and greater engagement with users. I work as an archivist at a small museum, and when I saw this call for reviewers, I immediately applied—the extra $150 per review saved the budget. To avoid relying on grants, I started monetizing my history blog through CPA—I found a recent top-10 list of programs and decided to more reading material , joining three direct dating sites and sweepstakes. I earned $4,200 in a month, and now I review without any problems and even bought a scanner for my personal archive.
