UnBOXed: Instruction for Solo Archivists slides and recording available!

The recording from the May 23 SAS event, "UnBOXed: Instruction for Solo Archivists," is now available here.  In addition, presenter Micaela Terronez has generously provided her slides for review and download as well!

Speaker:

Micaela Terronez is a Special Collections Librarian and Instructor at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. She received her M.L.I.S. from The University of Iowa in 2019. Before her most recent position, she previously instructed class sessions in primary source literacy at The University of Iowa and Knox College.

A bit more information about the event:

Are you a solo archivist with responsibilities in primary source instruction or outreach? Do you want to learn more about how to build a class session? Micaela Terronez will share some of her go-to strategies for building active learning sessions for students to develop their informational, archival, and visual literacies. Beyond one-shot classes, Micaela will also share her teaching experiences as an embedded librarian as well as a 4-credit course instructor in archival research.
