Section Membership

SAA members may officially join sections by indicating their selections on the membership application or renewal form, or by contacting SAA staff at servicecenter@archivists.org.

While the majority of the members of the Solo Archivists Section are SAA members, anyone is able to join our section. This is an especially good way to experience all that SAA has to offer before making any commitments. Non-members can attend SAA conferences (at a slightly higher fee) and benefit from the network of professionals that SAA Sections provide. 

We highly encourage any solo/small-shop archivist to join our Section and make some great connections with colleagues who work in similar situations.

Online Membership Connections

The SAA Connect Solo Archivists Section is our section discussion board. Search past posts or start a new thread for career or collection advice from other solo archivists, announcements, and calls for papers.
