It's Election Time!

It's that time of year again when we elect new leadership for Lone Arrangers!

Being part of leadership at SAA is a great way to meet others and also be a conduit to SAA about lone arrangers' needs.   Please feel free to nominate yourself, or another colleague.

The open positions are:

  • Vice Chair/Chair-Elect – The individual elected to this post will serve as the incoming chair, and a member of the Steering Committee 2017-2018.  The following year they will become Chair and take over those duties.  Finally, they will also serve a year as Immediate Past Chair, a member of the Steering Committee and the Nominating Committee.  This post is for three years.
  • Members of Steering Committee (4 open positions) – Two slots are available on the Steering Committee. Members can serve up to two two-year terms on the Lone Arrangers Steering Committee.  Steering Committee members offer advice and input to the Chair on issues related to leadership, the annual report and the annual business meeting.  They are also asked to volunteer for the Nominating Committee.

If you are interested in running for any of these positions, please send the following information to the Nominating Committee by Wednesday, May 10th:

 

  • Name/Title/Institution
  • A copy of your CV or Resume
  • Why you want to be part of the Lone Arrangers Leadership
  • What would you like to see the Lone Arrangers Section accomplish in the next 3 years?
