Per the email message below and the attached documentation, the University of Alabama is petitioning to form an SAA Student Chapter.  Robert Riter was very responsive to my suggestions following review of the documentation.  The documentation is now in order.

Do you wish to discuss this “petition” for a period of time before voting on it?  Or do you wish to consider a motion to approve?

Dear Nancy,

I hope that your new year is off to a good start.  The attached documentation contains a copy of our revised constitution, and the corrected membership list.  My apologies for providing you with this content later than my anticipated November date; I gave the members time to update their membership.  

In the constitution, revisions were made to the following sections: Article V. Section 1.4b, Article VI. Section 1, and Article IX. Section 1.

The membership listing contains our updated directory, with the appropriate revisions.  I have noted these changes in the document.

Thank you again for assistance and recommendations.  Please let me know if there is any additional information that I can provide.
