The RAAC steering committee will hold its first meeting on November 7, 2013 at 2:00 EST, over the phone, with results to be shared on this site.
Meeting Agenda:
- introductions (5 minutes)
- determine steering committee structure (i.e. nominate steering committee chair or co-chairs; webmaster; chairs of ad-hoc committees, etc.) (10-15 minutes)
- self-identify steering committee members serving for 2 vs. 3 year terms (5 minutes)
- discuss plan for splitting other (non-steering committee) initial members into 1 and 2 year terms (5 minutes)
- discuss plan to update directory of regionals on SAA website (http://www2.archivists.org/assoc-orgs) (5 minutes)
- brainstorm for previously stated goal: develop a 3-year plan for implementing the RAAC purpose statement, report this plan to regional and SAA leadership, and compile regional and SAA member comments for use in implementing the plan; (15 minutes)
- brainstorm for previously stated goal: select at least one collaborative project to be completed and reported upon by July 1, 2014. (10-15 minutes)
