The agenda will focus on: section business, elections,and the in-person annual meeting. In addition there will be a presentation by Tanya Yule, Descriptions Services Manager for Archival Control, Hoover Institution Library & Archives, Stanford University (section chair). The presentation will focus on the entire workflow of a mass digitization project of sound recordings for the Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty broadcast collection (approx 1900 recordings, in multiple languages). The presention will focus on pre-vendor setup, metadata capture, technical requirements, and creating visible (full-text searchable) collections using LibNova's OpenAccess platform.
