Have conducted several meetings with the editorial team on the Special Section on Archival Accessioning. Call for papers closed on October 1, 2024. Editorial Team is currently reading and selecting articles. Cary will begin editing and review in February 2025. [6 – 8 articles]
Current TOC: Velte “Where do I begin: An MPLP Approach to the Collection Survey,” Friedel “Down Syndrome in the Archives,” Wisniewska-Drewniak “Landscape of Community Archives in Poland,” TBD (in case I decide to add anything from current submissions)
No Pease Award Winner for 2024: ACC has engaged the Pease Award Committee members and is working with them on making contacts for potential submissions. Submission deadline is February 28, and publication of the winning essay will be Spring/Summer 2026. Committee has been emailing all educators in charge of the Archival Education Database programs, and also shared with SSA, MAC, MARAC, AERI, and other organizations.

Submissions Window Workflow has been instituted: https://www2.archivists.org/american-archivist/submissionswindow We are currently in the submissions window for 88:2 -- Fall/Winter 2025. Share this widely! ACC has contacted multiple sections – feel free to make a submission to the sections that you’re a part of. Call ends February 15, 2025
Board peer review will begin no later than March 1, 2025.
