Hotel Reservations

The Hilton Chicago (720 S. Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL, 60605) will serve as the ARCHIVES * RECORDS 2020: Creating Our Future headquarters hotel.

The conference organizers have negotiated the special discounted conference rates listed below. These rates are available until Friday, July 3, OR until our room block has been met, whichever comes first.  After this date—or the date on which the room block has been met—we can no longer guarantee rates and availability. We advise you to make your room reservations as soon as possible to ensure availability and the discounted rate.

Room Rates (include complimentary wireless Internet access in guest rooms and throughout the meeting space):

Single / Double Occupancy: $199
Triple/Quad: $25 per additional person over 18 years of age

Rates do not include applicable state and local taxes (currently 17.4%) in effect at the time of check-out.

HOUSING SCAM ALERT

Please be advised that some exhibitors and attendees have been contacted by an unauthorized third-party housing poacher.  This is a scam and is not associated in any way with SAA or CoSA. The conference organizers have not authorized any third-party organizations to make attendee reservations or to contact you. If anyone calls or emails you to say that they have been hired by SAA or CoSA to book your hotel reservation, do not provide them with any personal information. Please report any such interactions to saahq@archivists.org.

 

Personal check, money order, or a valid American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diner’s Club Card, or Carte Blanche card number and expiration date are acceptable. Should a guest cancel a reservation, the deposit will be refunded if notice is received at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to your scheduled arrival date. One night plus tax shall be charged if you cancel within 72 hours of the scheduled arrival date or failure to check-in.
