Megan McShea is an independent archivist in Baltimore, MD. As the Audiovisual Archivist at the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution, she developed and implemented a program for managing the audiovisual materials in manuscript collections and wrote the Archives’ Guidelines to Processing Collections with Audiovisual Material. She is a member of SAA, MARAC, ARSC, and AMIA, and attended the Archives Leadership Institute in 2018 at Berea College. Megan holds an MLS from the University of Maryland, College Park and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Duke University.
