SAA, in collaboration with the Council of State Archivists, the Regional Archival Associations Consortium, and the National Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators, has submitted “Recommendations on Federal Archives and Records Management Issues” to the Biden Transition Team.
Recommendations address records management responsibilities of public officials, federal electronic records management, NARA, federal funding for archives, declassification, compliance with the Freedom of Information Act, and the U.S. Copyright Act and intellectual property rights.
