In a February 18 comment to the Register of Copyrights (drafted by the Intellectual Property Working Group), SAA President Dennis Meissner notes that, “SAA is convinced that section 1201 has the potential to harm archivists’ ability to identify, acquire, and preserve records that ensure the rights of individuals and document American culture.”
