The Society of American Archivists (SAA) will honor the accomplishments, innovations, and over-the-top efforts made by professionals in the archives field at a ceremony on August 26, 2011, during the 75th Annual Meeting of the Society of American Archivists in Chicago. Various awards will recognize outstanding contributions to the archives profession, advocacy and public awareness, and writing/publishing excellence. In addition, scholarships for university study will also be awarded. A summary of recipients follows.
