You Can Help Our Gulf Coast Friends and Colleagues
SAA encourages its members to support all those whose lives have been affected by Katrina by making a contribution to the charity of their choice.
Archivists are also encouraged to assist colleagues by offering temporary employment in your facility. To post your opening, go to the Society of Southwest Archivists' weblog. There you'll also find Colleague Check-in, Repository Status, Supply and Space Donations, and other information.
We urge archivists in hurricane-ravaged areas to contact us if SAA can provide assistance. If you would like to be added to our hurricane-response volunteer list for future efforts, contact us.
