Candidate Information for the 2017 STHC Roundtable Elections

The Junior Co-Chair is elected annually by the section membership for a two-year term, serving in year one as Junior Co-Chair and in year two as Senior Co-Chair.  Electronic balloting will begin during the week of June 26, and it will be conducted by SAA staff. Election results will be announced before the annual meeting in July.

Biographical Statement

Eleanor Brown (Eli) serves as Head of the Special Collections Research Center (SCRC) at North Carolina State University, leading a program that supports research, teaching and learning with rich primary resources. These include the University Archives; significant manuscript collections and faculty papers in all media including electronic and born digital records and rare and unique books. She has a strong commitment to expanding access to SCRC’s primary resources in the curriculum and expanding the program in STEM disciplines.

Interest Statement
I am interested in the position to further collaborate with peer institutions, expand on existing relationships and increase knowledge sharing in the archival profession and STEM disciplines in particular.
