Please join me in thanking our outgoing Steering Committee members, Jennifer King, Elizabeth Wilkinson, and our recent past chair, Jessica Lacher-Feldman for their service to the Section!

As part of the election process, SAA collected data on what voting members were hoping to get out of being a member of the Research Libraries Section.  The overwhelming feedback was that you hope that RLS will be a forum for information about issues relevant to archives in research libraries and connecting with archivist colleagues facing those same issues.  Your Steering Committee will work towards enhancing the Research Libraries Section activities to advance this goal.

With that in mind, please feed free to email me with any suggestions for topics or issues that you would like the Section to discuss.  We appreciate any thoughts and ideas that you have.
