PLASC Foundation Documents, July 2009 - Februrary 2010

The Public Library Archives/Special Collections (PLASC) Roundtable began to take shape in July 2009, inspired by the idea posed by Mr. Russell James over the Archives & Archivists listserv around that time. Many people expressed interest in the idea of the creation of a roundtable centered around the Public Library world. To assist coordination & communication in the work of creating this roundtable, a Google Group was established.

The substantive discussions and resulting documents which took place to determine the mission and goals of PLASC have been turned into PDFs for the information of the membership. Also, the list of the founding members and original supporters has been saved as well for the record.
