Section history

As described in this blog post, the Privacy and Confidentiality Section began as an informal breakfast club that convened during SAA since 1981. The Confidentiality Study Group successfully petitioned and was approved as an official Roundtable in 1994.

A tradition started by past P & C leader Elena Danielson is the passing of the ceremonial lock and key from outgoing to incoming chair at the annual meeting.
