1. Open forum on union mergers and labor archives. James Quigel,
Head of Historical Collections & Labor Archives at PennState, will
open the discussion with the presentation: "When Worlds
Collide-Labor Union Mergers and Repercussions for Labor
Archives"
2. Business meeting:
a. News update
b. Proposals for next year's activities (LAR directory and Web
page maintenance, next meeting's program, other)
c. Election of next year's roundtable officers

Labor related collections in Birmingham:
The Birmingham Public Library, Archives Department, holds charters,
records, scrapbooks and other material relating to various Birmingham,
Alabama labor unions, papers of individuals involved in the labor
movement, oral history interviews, research files, and photographs.
