Two new posts on the HRA blog!

September saw not one, but two new additions to the Human Rights Archives Section blog.

Inclusive Processing of Indigenous Collections at SAA/COSA 2019
Carli Lowe relates best practices for processing Indigenous collections in ways that are both culturally competent and engage the communities that created the materials.

Bringing Archives to the Communities They Serve: Three Takes from the Association of Canadian Archivists conference
Blog editor Hilary Barlow covers 3 presentations about actively including communities of origin in arrangement, description and curation of both digital and print collections.

The HRA Section Blog is always looking for posts related to human rights and archives, even if they're not conference related. A post can be an opinion piece about an issue in the profession, a profile of a new exhibit or collection, or an interview with a colleague, as long as it somehow relates to human rights issues and cultural heritage fields.
